Since our inception in 1982, our mission has been clear: to provide outstanding customer experience through top-quality products and unparalleled operational excellence.

Our journey began with Russ Trimble and a dedicated team of truck sales professionals who took over the former International Harvester Company truck sales branches, establishing the first Southwest International dealership. Under Mr. Trimble's leadership, we have grown and thrived, consistently receiving prestigious industry awards, including the International Truck Presidential Award and Circle of Excellence Award multiple times. These honors recognize our commitment to performance, market representation, and, most importantly, customer satisfaction. In 2023, we were honored to be named a Top Company for Women in Transportation to Work and in 2024 our CEO, Shawn Trimble Craig, was a recipent of the Dallas Business Journals Women in Business award. 
 
Today, Southwest International® Trucks is a leading International dealership in the U.S., with over 400 employees and five locations: Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, McKinney, and Waco. Despite our size, we remain locally owned and operated. Our operations extend beyond dealerships to include three Idealease locations, three Used Truck Centers, and Design Transportation, a long-haul trucking company with over 100 tractors and 120 employees.
